ARLINGTON – UT Arlington Athletics and its multimedia rightsholder through LEARFIELD, Maverick Sports Properties, has partnered with TapNPay+ to enable fans, students and alumni alike to share a unique affinity with the department and earn cash back with every purchase.
The app is available for download now in the App Store and Google Play, and the UTA partnership allows for a direct donation to Maverick Athletics with each TapNPay+ paid transaction. The average TapNPay+ user can earn $300 per year, including instant cash back, when making purchases with the app.
It allows users to make purchases and earn cash back in-store or online at more than 300 TapNPay+ national brand partners in retail, entertainment, hospitality, travel and more. TapNPay+ partners include Best Buy, Fanatics, PetSmart, Home Depot, Top Golf, major airlines and hundreds of other everyday-purchase businesses.
Upon downloading the app, users will register for an account, search and select ‘UT Arlington Athletics’ from the ‘Search Your Cause’ option. From there, users finish setting up their account and watch the cash start to flow back, all while supporting UTA Athletics.
Beginning this season, TapNPay+ will receive brand visibility on UTAMavs.com, ESPN+ and radio broadcasts, and throughout the College Park Center, Clay Gould Ballpark and Allan Saxe Field.
