PLANO, Texas – LEARFIELD announced today the appointment of Ian Moses to the newly established role of head of diversity, equity and inclusion. He will focus entirely on continuing to champion the company’s dedicated, enterprise-wide DE&I efforts among its more than 2,000 employees in all 50 states.

The former senior inclusion diversity and equity leader for Amazon Web Services is a seasoned executive with two decades of experience. In addition to AWS, Moses has held dedicated DE&I roles with Allegis Global Solutions, where he was head of global inclusion and diversity; and TEKsystems, where he served as regional inclusion and diversity manager. Moses will remain in the Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas area, home to LEARFIELD’s corporate headquarters.

“As we continue to evolve our culture and create a company where diverse talent can grow and thrive, we are delighted to have Ian on board to design and implement our overall diversity, equity and inclusion strategy that aligns with LEARFIELD’s overall business objectives,” said Chief People & Culture Officer Kristine Schroeder.

Moses plans to formalize a DE&I maturity model and long-term strategy for the company that embeds DE&I into all business interactions and people systems. He is a certified 360 Inclusive Leadership Coach and trained in the course Dare to Lead™.

“I’m excited about this role and already have a deep respect for the company leadership,” said Moses. “I sense a genuine desire and commitment from them to make sure that LEARFIELD is a diverse and inclusive company and to play an active role in helping shape the way the industry focuses on both DE&I, as well as those within the underrepresented communities that we serve.”

Moses’ community involvement includes serving as a volunteer coach for boys and girls of all ages. He also participates on several non-profit boards where he is actively involved in helping support and develop strategies for providing IT training and job opportunities to women and underrepresented minorities.
