PLANO, Texas LEARFIELD announces the relaunch of “From the Chair” with host Mike Hamilton – a bi-weekly podcast centered on the current landscape of college athletics. Texas A&M University Director of Athletics Ross Bjork is the featured guest in Episode 1.

The debut dialogue with Bjork is available now by downloading “From the Chair” on Apple Podcasts, Spotify and iHeart. LEARFIELD’s nearly five decades of deep engagement within intercollegiate athletics from multimedia rights and licensing to ticketing, digital and gameday experiences, allows Hamilton to naturally guide the conversations with individual athletic directors.

Throughout the year, compelling perspectives and insights will be shared by athletic directors and industry influencers alike who will be guests of “From the Chair.” Among the guests set to appear early in the schedule are Julie Cromer, Ohio University Director of Athletics; Danny White, University of Tennessee Vice Chancellor/Director of Athletics; and Jeramiah Dickey, Boise State University Director of Athletics.

Hamilton, a former Division 1 athletic director with nearly 30 years of intercollegiate athletics’ experience, serves as LEARFIELD’s executive vice president for the University Partnership Group. Hamilton is an alumnus of Clemson University, where he earned his undergraduate degree and MBA.

“I’m fortunate to have developed phenomenal relationships over the years with so many incredible leaders within this industry,” said Hamilton. “I look forward to sharing meaningful, one-on-one conversations with athletic directors from various conferences across the U.S. I enjoyed doing this podcast years ago, and I’m glad it’s back – providing listeners with engaging, enlightening content at a time when intercollegiate athletics has never been more transformative.”
