Vista Bank to Launch “Make Your Move” Campaign to Award One Small Business

DALLAS– SMU Athletics and its multimedia rightsholder, Mustang Sports Properties, announced today Vista Bank is an official “Proud Supporter of SMU Athletics” concurrent with the 2021-22 athletics season.

This marks the first time the Dallas-based financial institution has aligned with the Mustangs. In addition to its corporate sponsor designation, Vista Bank will have brand visibility on the football fields, including signage on the practice field and the new stadium tunnel cover. Vista also will receive exposure during game day radio broadcasts and through digital offerings via official SMU Athletics’ platforms.

As a complement to its multi-year sponsorship and in alignment with their ‘entrepreneurs banking entrepreneurs‘ mission, Vista Bank will champion a “Make Your Move” social media campaign prior to the start of the football. Specifically targeting DFW-area small businesses, the enter-to-win promotion will award one business marketing assets with SMU that include digital ads on SMUMustangs.com, digital signage in Moody Coliseum for basketball games, radio spots during Men’s and Women’s basketball games and more.

“We couldn’t be more impressed with the hospitality and professionalism of the amazing SMU family, and are honored to support the athletic program,” noted Vista Bank President and CEO John D. Steinmetz. “As a commercial bank, the ‘Make Your Move’ campaign was a no-brainer. Giving small businesses in the region, including some of our hardest hit businesses in South Dallas, an opportunity to compete for the chance to get in front of – and potentially earn the business of SMU alumni could make a real difference for their growth. Pony Up!”

“We’re thrilled to welcome Vista Bank to the Mustang corporate partner family, and we greatly appreciate their dedicated commitment to SMU’s overall athletics programming and support of a brand-new social media campaign championing small businesses in the Metroplex,” said Josh White, general manager for Mustang Sports Properties, the university’s athletics multimedia rightsholder and locally based LEARFIELD team.
