NORTHRIDGE, Calif. – CSUN Athletics has announced a partnership with Aspire Apartments Northridge to become the Matadors’ exclusive off-campus housing partner.

“Aspire Apartments is proud to be the official off-campus housing provider of CSUN Athletics,” said Carina Lopata, Aspire’s Director of Community Experience. “Located directly across the street from campus, and offering state-of-the-art facilities and industry-leading residential amenities, Aspire Apartments is a natural fit for CSUN Athletics. Having just opened in October, we strive to provide a fresh, premium living experience and vibrant community atmosphere for our residents, and we are thrilled to now officially consider ourselves a part of the CSUN family! Go Matadors!”

Situated directly across the street from the university, Aspire Northridge is the perfect place to unwind after a long day on campus. This brand-new apartment community is also within walking distance of a wide variety of shopping, dining, and entertainment attractions. The Aspire Apartments Northridge collection includes six properties in the Northridge area including Maravilla, Campus Crossing, Northpoint, Windward Sea, Chateau Dearborn and Aspire Apartment Northridge.

By establishing a long-term partnership with Aspire Apartments, CSUN will be able to offer its students the opportunity to experience state-of-the-art amenities including one, two, or three-bedroom apartments, contemporary European kitchens with stainless steel appliances and a chic tile backsplash. Large walk-in closets keep your space organized, as smart thermostats ensure comfort no matter the weather. Furnished balconies and patios offer scenic neighborhood views as well. Aspire offers standard leasing options, as well as a dorm-style “Rent by the Bed” program with a roommate matching service!

The unparalleled amenity collection also offers a deluxe fitness center, a sparkling pool and outdoor spa, as well as a courtyard garden area for relaxation. The two on-site restaurants open to an attractive plaza, and the spacious dog park allows your furry friends to burn off energy. Other on-site perks include  barbeque facilities, hosted resident events, and an app-controlled laundry facility. Perhaps the best feature is the rooftop deck and lounge, offering expansive views of campus and the entire Northridge community.

“Entering this partnership with Aspire Apartments Northridge will offer CSUN students a state-of-the-art housing option,” CSUN Director of Athletics Mike Izzi said. “We are excited to work with them to bring conveniently located housing options to Matador Athletics and the general CSUN student population.”

LBPM, the team behind Aspire, has been a prominent off-campus housing provider within the Northridge community for over 25 years. While developing Aspire Apartments, their team drew upon their extensive experience in the market from managing Aspire’s five sister properties, all of which neighbor CSUN’s campus. This background defined their vision of an enhanced, cutting-edge living environment. Essentially, Aspire is the culmination of all that LBPM residents have valued most in their off-campus housing experience, and serves as the flagship property within their Northridge collection.

“After taking a tour of Aspire Northridge Apartments and meeting with their staff, I knew they were the right partner for CSUN Athletics,” said Will Carter, CSUN’s General Manager of Matador Sports Properties. “Providing state of the art living and quality of life for our students is important. We here at CSUN are excited to call Aspire Apartments Northridge the Exclusive Off-Campus Housing of CSUN Athletics.”
