MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee State University Athletics and its multimedia rightsholder, Blue Raider Sports Properties, announced today the return of Ole South as a valued corporate partner.
The largest independently owned homebuilder in Tennessee continues its longtime support of MT Athletics and its nearly 400 student-athletes by signing a new, extended relationship with the Blue Raiders. Most notably, Ole South will remain the “Official Homebuilder of MTSU” – a designation it has held since 2017.
Ole South Owner John Floyd is committed to continuing a relationship with the university that now runs deeper. In addition to his company serving as an athletics corporate partner, Floyd has generously donated to significant MTSU facility projects and educational programming over the years, including the Center of Student Coaching and Success, and the on-campus Raider Realty Group to provide guidance and opportunities to students pursuing a real estate career.
“We’re beyond grateful to the unwavering support by Ole South and John Floyd, not only to our university and student population, but to our entire athletics program and dedication to bettering our overall experience for our student-athletes,” said MT Director of Athletics Chris Massaro. “On the heels of an unprecedented year, the company’s loyalty to continue backing the Blue Raiders certainly does not go unnoticed, and we’re thrilled to welcome Ole South back as our Official Home Builder for MTSU.”
