Physical Therapy Group Pledges to Keep Passionate College Sports Fans in the Game of Life

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Confluent Health announced today a multi-year, multi-school relationship with Learfield IMG College spanning seven states across the country. The agreement provides an escalated platform for Confluent to elevate its partner companies in designated markets and among core audiences that share a deep affinity with 13 universities.

Confluent Health currently has individual sponsorship agreements with Learfield IMG College at two institutions where it is the athletics multimedia rightsholder – University of North Carolina (Chapel Hill) and University of Evansville (Indiana). The expanded Learfield IMG College relationship now in effect allows Confluent Health and its partner companies the opportunity to increase brand exposure among loyal, passionate college fans within five additional states: Florida, Oklahoma,
Oregon, Rhode Island, and Texas.

“We’ve been extremely pleased with our existing engagement with Learfield IMG College over the years at many universities and venues. While we share our passion for sports, we also share the desire to directly address the fans who will confidently and more fully return to arenas and stadiums over time. We made the decision to further partner with Learfield IMG College by identifying other colleges and universities that aligned with our growing private physical therapy practice footprint across the U.S.,” said Larry Benz, PT, DPT, OCS, MBA, MAPP, CEO and President of Confluent Health. “Our vision and focus for Confluent Health is to transform healthcare through delivering best-in-class, kind, positive and compassionate care. We measure our success through meaningful work of getting and keeping fans in the game of life. We feel that connecting with college sports fans is a perfect match for our approach to evidence-based treatment, and Learfield IMG College is the perfect partner to share that message with 13 schools over the next several years.”

Throughout the agreement term, Confluent Health will be a proud partner of UNC and Evansville, as well as Appalachian State, Florida State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Oregon, Oregon State, Providence College, University of Texas-San Antonio, TCU, Texas State and Tulsa. Notably,
while the partner benefits and details vary by school and sport, Confluent Health and its partner companies will receive significant digital visibility and be able to utilize its key message of “Keeping Fans in the Game.”

“It’s a privilege to work with Larry and his team as they understand the immense value associated with brand alignment in college sports,” said Learfield IMG College’s EVP National Sales and Marketing Andrew Judelson. “College sports fans are fans 365 days a year, and if there’s anything the pandemic has shown us, it’s that we are still more than capable of reaching these fans and providing them with compelling content, no matter how unique the season. Through this content, and the help of our 13 incredible schools and their fanbases, we have built an impactful strategy that will
show Confluent Health the results they are looking forward to see.”
