BRIAN RADLE TO LEAD DRAGONS SPORTS PROPERTIES AT DREXEL FOR LEARFIELD IMG COLLEGE

PHILADELPHIA – Learfield IMG College, the athletics multimedia rightsholder for Drexel University, has appointed seasoned sports marketer Brian Radle to serve as general manager for Dragons Sports Properties.

Radle, former director of partnerships for NLL’s Philadelphia Wings, begins his new role at Drexel today. Dragons Sports Properties, the local Learfield IMG College team dedicated to representing Drexel Athletics, works closely with Director of Athletics Dr. Eric Zillmer and the entire athletics administration. Radle will lead Drexel’s strategic sponsorships with local, regional and national businesses, as well as the comprehensive rights relationship which includes signage, digital, radio, hospitality and promotions.

Prior to the Wings, Radle served 13 years in Minor League Baseball in management and senior sales positions with six organizations on the East Coast. Radle was president and general manager for the Kannapolis Intimidators (N.C.) before relocating to Philadelphia to secure top-level partnerships for the city’s National Lacrosse League franchise.

Radle’s predecessor, Layne Werner, remains with Learfield IMG College in Philadelphia, now serving as general manager for the company’s Temple Sports Properties team representing the Owls.

“Brian is a proven sales leader with substantial experience from many facets of the broader sports industry,” said Learfield IMG College Vice President, Multi-Media Rights Gerry Dickey. “We’re excited to have him join our company and lead our Dragons’ team as we continue to align with the university in elevating the Drexel brand.”
