LOYOLA ANNOUNCES MULTIMEDIA RIGHTS DEAL WITH LEARFIELD IMG COLLEGE

CHICAGO – Loyola University Chicago has signed an agreement with Learfield IMG College as the exclusive multimedia right holder for Rambler Athletics, it was announced today. An industry leader, Learfield IMG College has a strong presence in the college athletics landscape, managing multimedia and sponsorship rights for collegiate institutions, conferences and arenas located all across the country. 

“We are very excited to be entering this tremendously important relationship with Learfield IMG College,” said Loyola Director of Athletics Steve Watson. “This partnership will allow Loyola Athletics to leverage the strength of the national market leader in the multimedia space to not only drive additional revenue via corporate sponsorships, but to also position the Loyola brand for continued growth through increased visibility and an expanded media platform.”

Learfield IMG College provides its collegiate partners with access to licensing and multimedia sponsorship management, including publishing, radio, digital and social media; fan engagement, ticket sales and professional concessions expertise; branding; campus-wide business and sponsorship development; and venue technology systems.

A general manager will be hired to lead the newly established, locally based Loyola Ramblers Sports Properties, solely dedicated to representing Loyola Athletics. The Learfield IMG College team will manage Loyola’s corporate partnership program which provides innovative opportunities for brands and fans to connect with Rambler Athletics locally, regionally and nationally via digital and social media platforms, promotional activities at athletics contests, corporate hospitality events and signage in all home venues.
