HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – Northern Kentucky University and FOX Sports Ohio have formed a partnership for five Norse men’s basketball games to air on the regional network this season.

The partnership, which was arranged through Norse Sports Properties, begins with the final game of the KEMI Northern Kentucky Basketball Classic when NKU plays Coastal Carolina on Sunday, Nov. 18, at 6 p.m.

FOX Sports Ohio is available in over 5-million homes across Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, western Pennsylvania, western New York and parts of West Virginia. Half of the Horizon League’s member institutions reside in FOX Sports Ohio’s market. And, Northern Kentucky University’s recently announced Educational Discount to Graduate and Excel (EDGE) program, which features annual tuition of $10,000 for qualifying students, reaches five of the six states covered by FOX Sports Ohio.

In addition to the finale of the KEMI Northern Kentucky Basketball Classic, Norse home games against Miami (Ohio) on Dec. 16, UIC on Dec. 30, Green Bay on Jan. 24 and Milwaukee on Jan. 26 will air on FOX Sports Ohio.

Northern Kentucky’s road game at Milwaukee (Feb. 28) will also air on the regional network.

NKU is the reigning Horizon League regular-season champion and has posted back-to-back 20 win seasons that also include appearances in the 2017 NCAA Tournament and 2018 NIT. Two-time All-Horizon League First Team performer and preseason player of the year Drew McDonald returns to lead the Norse in his senior campaign after averaging 17.0 points and 9.6 rebounds per game last season. McDonald, a native of Cold Spring, Kentucky, is also a candidate for the Naismith Hall of Fame Karl Malone Power Forward Award.

Northern Kentucky continues its regular-season Friday night at Northern Illinois.
