Strategic Relationship Will Introduce Technology-Intensive Campuses

DALLAS — AT&T* is entering a strategic relationship with Learfield, a collegiate marketer, to help deepen our reach within higher education institutions.

We’ll work with Learfield’s Campus+ division, which helps build campus-wide relationships that support university and business opportunities, to cultivate university partnerships that transform the traditional business relationship into more evolved experiences.

“Working with Learfield means sharpening our focus on education. University relationships are particularly important to us as we concentrate on developing tomorrow’s best and brightest as part of our future workforce,” said Chris Roy, vice president, Global Public Sector, AT&T. “Learfield brings deeply entrenched collegiate relationships to the table, and we look forward to exploring the synergies of this collaboration and the benefits we can bring to each university.”

Universities face increasing demands. Through this relationship with Learfield, we’ll work with administrators and other campus stakeholders to understand the unique challenges each university faces. Then, we’ll help design customized solutions that will deliver new and engaging experiences to students, faculty and alumni.

“Building technology-intensive campuses helps improve how students learn and find new ways to connect with each other. Teaming with Learfield will help us bring the latest technology, education and career opportunities to university communities,” Roy added.

Here’s what this may look like. Research and development opportunities will help further on-campus learning. And recruiting and mentoring opportunities will help students succeed beyond the classroom.

Learfield Executive Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer Andy Rawlings said, “We’ve always been committed to connecting people with what they’re passionate about. And we’ve worked with AT&T for years. Our team is excited to further our relationship with AT&T to expand its business solutions on the campuses of our partner universities. Together, we’ll help bring new opportunities and technologies to our partner schools.”
