LUBBOCK, Texas – Texas Tech Athletics and its multimedia rightsholder, Learfield, are bringing the Red Raiders to a new broadcast partner in the greater Houston area as a five-year relationship with KKHT-FM 100.7 begins this fall.
KKHT-FM will carry all Texas Tech football and men’s basketball games live through the 2022-23 collegiate athletic season. The affiliate also will air the seasonal coaches’ show and daily update, providing a quick recap of all Red Raider sports. KKHT is a 100,000-watt FM station owned by Salem Media Group.
“We are very excited that KKHT-FM has been named the ‘Home and Away Voice’ of the Texas Tech Red Raiders here in Houston,” said Salem Media Group General Manager Chuck Jewell.
