FAIRFAX, Va. Collegiate marketer Learfield today introduced Seth Cantor as general manager for George Mason Sports Properties, its locally based team solely dedicated to representing the Patriots. Learfield is Mason’s exclusive corporate sponsorship partner and multimedia rights holder through 2022.

Cantor, former vice president, business development for the Rockland Boulders in Pomona, N.Y., has significant corporate sales experience in the professional sports and entertainment industries. During his seven-year tenure with the Can-Am league independent professional baseball team, Cantor was integral in driving sponsorship revenue and spearheading sales strategies. Through creating partnerships for local, regional, and national brands primarily in the retail, medical, education and automotive categories, Cantor helped play a vital role in helping build and grow the Boulders’ franchise since its inception in 2011.

Cantor is a broadcast journalism graduate of Ithaca College in New York. Early in his career, he obtained production experience with MTV Networks and NBA Entertainment, followed by serving many dedicated years to broadcasting. In addition to serving as the lead broadcaster for the Rockland Boulders’ radio and television coverage, he has spent nearly 10 years as the voice for St. Francis College Brooklyn’s Division I men’s basketball program. He also is the former sportscaster for WCBS-880 and CBS Sports Radio in New York.
