Sacramento State Athletics and its multimedia rightsholder, Learfield’s Hornets Sports Properties, announced today that ESPN 1320 (KIFM AM) Sacramento will be new home for Hornet football and men’s basketball.

The broadcast relationship begins this fall, allowing fans to hear all Sacramento State football and men’s basketball games live on the Entercom-owned all-sports station through the 2020-21 collegiate athletic season.

“We’re thrilled to add Sacramento State to our emerging lineup of live sports play-by-play on ESPN 1320,” said Stacey Kauffman, Senior Vice President and Market Manager, Entercom Sacramento. “It’s a privilege to partner with the region’s preeminent university, and we’re proud to deliver many memorable moments of future seasons to their fans.”

According to Sacramento State Director of Athletics Mark Orr, “We are very excited about the opportunity to partner with ESPN 1320. This allows our fans to have greater access to Hornet football and men’s basketball games for many years to come. ESPN 1320 is a leading destination for sports in the Sacramento region, and this is a huge benefit for us to be part of that landscape.”
