BOISE, Idaho – Boise State Athletics is launching an upgraded pregame experience at Albertsons Stadium in 2018, partnering with Blockparty, a fan-focused hospitality and entertainment company, and unveiling the Ford Tailgate Zone at DeChevrieux Field, Director of Athletics Curt Apsey announced Monday.
The Ford Tailgate Zone at DeChevrieux Field will include a Kids Zone, featuring a climbing wall and other entertainment geared toward a younger generation of Bronco fans. It will also include Go Vision, large-screen televisions featuring top games, in addition to food trucks, additional dining options and more – all on the Broncos’ grass practice facility, just steps from Albertsons Stadium.
“I would like to thank Treasure Valley Ford stores for making this all possible,” Apsey said. “We have been focusing on our pregame fan experience for quite some time, and we are thrilled to make this a reality for the upcoming season.”
Blockparty will bring hassle-free hospitality to Bronco fans, presenting a multitude of new offerings to improve the fan experience. Blockparty will construct a tailgate village using turnkey tailgating packages for groups of all sizes. Tailgate village offerings will include bellhop services, tailgate attendants, tailgate games and FanText. FanText provides fans with an on-demand concierge service via an SMS platform allowing fans the capability to text for assistance.
