PLANO, Texas – Jeff Gosey has joined Learfield in a newly created position of vice president-sales acceleration. Gosey, former New Orleans Saints and Pelicans’ senior director, business intelligence, will establish and manage a business intelligence unit for Learfield’s core concern that manages multimedia rights and sponsorships for nearly 130 collegiate institutions, conferences and arenas nationwide.

Gosey will relocate from Louisiana to Texas to work in Learfield’s North Dallas headquarters. During his 11-year stint in New Orleans, he led the dedicated effort of establishing a business intelligence unit to gather relevant and impactful analytics for the city’s NFL and NBA franchises. In his first five years, he was director, ticket operations for the NBA’s former New Orleans Hornets. Gosey also previously served as a senior financial/marketing analyst for Harrah’s Hotel & Casino and as a financial analyst for the NFL’s Miami Dolphins. He earned his undergraduate degree from Auburn University and an MBA and master’s degree of sport business from the University of Central Florida.
