PLANO, Texas – Collegiate marketer Learfield has appointed new general managers for nine university brands it represents for athletics multimedia rights and sponsorship.

Buffalo, Georgia Southern, Maine, Nevada, Northern Illinois, Purdue, Saint Louis, St. Cloud State and Stephen F. Austin are the collegiate institutions where Learfield has named new leadership in recent months. The new general managers will oversee its local team that works alongside the respective athletics administration.

Jason Martin, general manager for Bulls Sports Properties at University of Buffalo, formerly served three years as associate athletic director for external relations at Arkansas State University.

Mike Petrini, general manager for Georgia Southern Sports Properties, previously served as general manager for the Frontier League baseball organization, Normal CornBelters.

Justin Barnes, general manager for Black Bear Sports Properties representing University of Maine Athletics, previously served in this same role from 2008-2011. Following that, has been a Learfield GM for three other properties, Buffalo being most recent.

Mike Shayotovich, general manager for Wolf Pack Sports Properties team representing University of Nevada Athletics, previously served as general manager for Learfield’s Huskie Sports Properties at NIU.

Tom Konczyk, general manager for Huskie Sports Properties team representing Northern Illinois Athletics, most recently was director, corporate partnerships for Chicagoland Speedway.

Mark Walpole, general manager for Purdue Sports Properties, is the former director of business development for Learfield’s Wolfpack Sports Properties team at NC State.

Kyle Ingram, general manager for Billikens Sports Properties team representing Saint Louis University Athletics, is the former director of sales, metro division for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Chad Sheetz, general manager for St. Cloud State Sports Properties, is the former associate athletic director for St. Cloud State University. He served 17 years inside Athletics and two years in this most recent position.

Garrett Altier, general manager for Lumberjack Sports Properties representing Stephen F. Austin Athletics, previously served nearly three years as SFA’s athletic marketing coordinator.
