Red Raider Basketball with Chris Beard will be hosted by Rudy’s Country Store and Bar-B-Q off the South Loop 289 for the second straight season
LUBBOCK, Texas – Texas Tech Athletics and Learfield’s Red Raider Sports Properties announced that the “Red Raider Basketball with Chris Beard” radio show will debut tonight at 6:30 p.m. CT.
The one-hour show lasts from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. CT and will be hosted live from Rudy’s Country Store and Bar-B-Q located on 4930 South Loop 289. The play-by-play voice of the Red Raiders, Geoff Haxton, will serve as the host.
The radio show airs live courtesy of the Texas Tech Sports Radio Network and the team’s flagship station, Double T 97.3 FM in Lubbock. Fans are welcomed to join Coach Beard and special guests at Rudy’s Bar-B-Q. Tickets to home games will be given away at all six shows throughout the remainder of the season which includes next Tuesday’s game against Oklahoma State at Monday’s opening show.
Texas Tech begins a stretch of three of its next four games on the road as the Red Raiders travel to Texas on Wednesday. Tip time is scheduled for 7 p.m. CT, and the game will be televised by Longhorn Network along with the ESPN app.
