APPLICATIONS NOW BEING ACCEPTED FOR 5TH ANNUAL LEARFIELD MINORITY ACADEMY

PLANO, Texas – Learfield and the Minority Opportunities Athletic Association (MOAA) will host its fifth annual, five-day academy event, June 11-15, 2018, with dual host sites being Learfield’s corporate headquarters in North Dallas along with certain university partners to provide the selected candidates a combination of sales training, best practices, professional development and on-site practicum.

To be considered for the Academy, individuals must complete and submit the following online application no later than Friday, March 2: Learfield Minority Academy Application Form. The selection committee, comprised of members from Learfield and MOAA, will review all materials and select candidates based on their desire to work in the sales and/or sports business, and their personal/professional impact on athletics. Recipients will be notified by April 1.

In order to be considered for the academy, a candidate must:
1. Must have at least one year of full-time work experience (current students, full-time graduate school students and interns will not be considered)
2. Meet the federal guideline for definition as a minority
3. At a minimum, a bachelor’s degree is required
4. Complete and submit the online application, including the additional documents that are to be uploaded
