AMHERST, Mass. – As part of the new partnership with the Eleven Sports, the University of Massachusetts, in conjunction with multimedia rights holder Learfield’s UMass Sports Properties, announced today a total of 14 basketball and hockey games to be produced and distributed for the 2017-18 season. This is in addition to the previously announced national telecasts as part of the Atlantic 10 Conference and Hockey East Association programming schedules.

Regionally, nearly all of the games will be available on a New England Sports Network (NESN) station. Additionally, Eleven Sports is available on various cable providers such as, DIRECTV, Verizon Fios, AT&T U-verse and more. The February 3 men’s basketball game against Dayton will also be available on NBC Sports Boston (formerly Comcast Sports New England).

“The continued growth of our television coverage on Eleven Sports along with our regional sports network partners is an important building block for UMass Athletics,” said Director of Athletics Ryan Bamford. “We appreciate the interest and cooperation from our partners at Eleven Sports, NESN and NBC Sports Boston as they jointly deliver significant programming to our fans this winter.”

The coverage follows this year’s six-game football package that was produced/distributed by Eleven Sports and broadcast regionally by NESN. Both packages are multi-year agreements.
