LAS CRUCES, N.M. – New Mexico State Aggie fans living in the greater Albuquerque area will be able to find their favorite team on an additional radio affiliate – KNMM-AM 1150 – for the next three years beginning this fall.

NM State broadcasts will be the first priority in sports programming for 1150 AM, which will carry live football and men’s basketball game action, as well as the Aggies Coaches Show. The multi-year agreement with the station’s owner, Sangre de Cristo Broadcasting, was secured on behalf of NM State Athletics by its multimedia rightsholder, Learfield’s NM State Sports Properties.

“With Albuquerque consisting of the largest number of NM State alumni, it is critical we are on a quality station that can provide us with consistency,” NM State Director of Athletics Mario Moccia said. “I would like to thank KNMM and Learfield for working to make this happen, which was the number one priority in our affiliate network.”

“We are excited to bring New Mexico State Aggies Sports to the Albuquerque Metro Area on our signal,” said Matt Martinez, President for KBQL, KMDS, KMDZ and KNMX. “Our stations have been a member of the Learfield family since 2008, and we are proud to be part of this great friendship. So, starting on August 22, the new home for Aggie Sports will be on K-New Mexico 1150 AM and soon on 102.1 FM.”

NM State is one of nearly 130 collegiate institutions, conferences and arenas represented by Learfield.
