LEWISBURG, Pa. – Bucknell Sports Properties and Sunbury Broadcasting Corporation have announced a continuation of their radio rights agreement that keeps Eagle 107 (WEGH 107.3 FM) as the flagship station for Bucknell football and men’s basketball games.
Eagle 107 has been the home of Bison football and basketball games since 2005, and the station will continue to carry all regular season and postseason contests, including pre- and post-game shows. Doug Birdsong, the “Voice of the Bison,” will be entering his 18th season as lead play-by-play announcer.
“We strive to align great partnerships for Bucknell Athletics and Bison fans, and for over a decade now, Eagle 107 has proven to be an excellent example of this,” said Mike Trudnak, general manager for Learfield’s Bucknell Sports Properties. “We’re excited to continue hearing quality broadcasts from Sunbury and look forward to an exciting 2017-18 collegiate athletic season.”
“Sunbury Broadcasting Corporation is thrilled to be extending our relationship with Bucknell University Athletics,” said Drew Kelly, vice president of programming. “Bucknell basketball and football have provided some of the most exciting and compelling sports moments at their respective divisions in the commonwealth, and we’re extremely proud that they will continue to find a broadcast home on Eagle 107.”
