ESPN 700 to Remain Flagship; Adds Baseball and Gymnastics

SALT LAKE CITY – University of Utah athletics and its multimedia rights holder, Learfield’s Utes Sports Properties, announced today an agreement to extend their flagship radio partnership with Broadway Media-owned ESPN 700 through the 2021-22 athletic season.

The radio home to Utah athletics since 1951, ESPN 700 (KALL-AM) will continue its live game coverage of football and men’s and women’s basketball, and their respective coaches’ shows. The school’s flagship station will also roll out some new content this year by airing all home Utah gymnastics meets, as well as weekday night and weekend home baseball games. Also new in 2017-18 will be segments on the Bill Riley Show that highlight Utah’s other intercollegiate sports.

Salt Lake City’s ESPN 700 (KALL-AM) is owned and operated by Broadway Media. KALL 700 AM has been University of Utah’s radio flagship for 66 years. ESPN 700 features The Bill Riley Show, Monday-Friday from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Riley is entering his ninth season as the play by play voice of University of Utah athletics.
