PHILADELPHIA – Learfield announced today the appointment of Nic Valentino to general manager for Temple Sports Properties, its local team solely dedicated to representing Temple University Athletics.

nv-whiteshirtValentino, who has been serving as general manager for IMG Learfield Ticket Solutions’ business at Temple since May 2015, will transition into the new property management role on December 12. For more than a decade, his sales and management expertise has included serving primarily within the sports landscape. In his new position representing Temple Athletics, Valentino will oversee all aspects involving Learfield’s extensive multimedia rights and sponsorship relationship with the Owls including digital, signage, event marketing, corporate partnerships, and radio and television.

Prior to joining IMG Learfield Ticket Solutions, he was director of premium sales for Live Nation’s owned properties throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and before that, worked with the Philadelphia Soul first as manager of ticket sales to later senior manager of corporate partnerships. His previous experience also includes serving with the Philadelphia 76ers as a sales associate; Kansas City Chiefs as a VIP club level ticket sales representative and with Front-Row Marketing/Sovereign Bank Arena in Trenton, N.J. as manager, corporate sales.

Temple not only is involved with Learfield in areas of athletics sponsorship and ticketing, but the university also is represented by Learfield Licensing Partners. Additionally, SIDEARM Sports is a Learfield company and the digital provider behind the official athletics website, www.owlsports.com. Another Learfield company, ANC, is responsible for the digital video displays in Temple’s Liacouras Center and Geasey Field.
