Special Myrtle Beach Event at Purdue vs. Louisville and UNC vs. Indiana;
Supports Disabled American Veterans
On November 30th, Visit Myrtle Beach, through a partnership with Learfield, will be onsite during the ACC/Big Ten Challenge at both Louisville and Indiana for fans to enter a promotion sponsored by Visit Myrtle Beach and SPY Optics.
A fan representing each basketball team will be selected to participate in the on-court promotion, and any fan interested in participating should stop by the Visit Myrtle Beach table on November 30 in the concourse at the respective game they are attending.
The “Visit Myrtle Beach Challenge” – slated to take place during the second half of each of the two games – will allow a fan from each of the four teams to compete for a four-day, three-night vacation to sunny Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and a prize package from SPY Optics.
The Myrtle Beach fan promotion also will benefit Disabled American Veterans as the organization will receive a donated vacation to use for a deserving veteran or as a fundraiser.
“We’re excited and grateful that Visit Myrtle Beach has partnered with DAV to bestow such a wonderful gift to a deserving hero and their family,” said DAV National Commander David Riley. “I can’t think of a better way to start the holiday season.”
Learfield is the exclusive athletics multimedia rightsholder for the Purdue Boilermakers, Louisville Cardinals, North Carolina Tar Heels and Indiana Hoosiers and is working directly with Visit Myrtle Beach on its promotion at the 18th Annual ACC/Big Ten Challenge.
