Louisville, KY – Delta Dental and its Making Smiles Happen® campaign will add charging stations to the main concourse of the KFC Yum! Center for guests to utilize during concerts, shows and University of Louisville sporting events.
Additionally, the Making Smiles Happen campaign has created a “Smile Power Lounge” interactive area on the Third Street side of the arena’s main concourse that will feature both charging stations and an interactive social media campaign of #MakingSmilesHappen. Fans are encouraged to take a smiling selfie at the KFC Yum! Center and tag it with #MakingSmilesHappen. These selfies will appear on the digital screens located in the Smile Power Lounge.
“Delta Dental is committed to supporting efforts throughout Kentucky that promote the Commonwealth, enhance our communities, and support our citizens. The KFC Yum! Center touches audiences across the spectrum,” said Tammy York-Day, Delta Dental of Kentucky COO. “We want to connect with Kentuckians from all walks of life who come through these doors to enjoy exciting, unique experiences. We think our bright Smile Power Lounges will add an extra smile to arena attendees.”
Louisville Arena Sports & Entertainment Properties, Learfield’s local team, has worked closely with Delta Dental as well as KFC Yum! Center General Manager Dennis Petrullo and his AEG facilities staff at the KFC Yum! Center to initiate this partnership.
“We are always looking for ways to improve our patron’s experience while attending events at the KFC Yum! Center,” said Petrullo. “We are excited that our partnership with Delta Dental and its Smile Power Lounge will capture the fun, festive atmosphere at KFC Yum! Center events while also providing an interactive and engaging space for guests to recharge their phones during our events.”
