Indianapolis – Learfield Licensing Partners, a trademark management company specializing in collegiate licensing and branding, is pleased to announce that Wayne State University has signed an exclusive agreement allowing Learfield Licensing to represent the university and its licensing program.

Wayne State University, located in Detroit, is the third-largest university in Michigan and has an enrollment of more than 27,000. The Warriors compete at the NCAA Division II level as members of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. Among the nation’s 50 largest public universities, Wayne State is dedicated to meaningful collaboration and partnership within its community through initiatives like “Tech Town,” a business incubator and accelerator that has served more than 1,600 companies and generated more than 1,200 new jobs. Seventy-five percent of Wayne State’s 260,000 alumni live in the state of Michigan.

Learfield Licensing has been hired to help maximize exposure opportunities for Wayne State through aggressive retail merchandising and brand development, along with handling the day-to-day management duties of the university’s trademark licensing program.
