RUSTON, La. Exclusive multimedia rights holder for Louisiana Tech Athletics officially welcomes Josh Perot and Gary Northen today to its locally based LA Tech Sports Properties team. Learfield appointed Perot and Northen, both LA Tech alumni, to serve as general manager and manager of business development, respectively.

Josh PerotThis marks a return to Learfield’s LA Tech Sports Properties for Perot, who previously served as account executive from 2008-2011. The past five years, he has been the vice president, Lincoln Parish market leader for First National Bank in Ruston. Perot is a 2007 graduate of Louisiana Tech and received his master’s degree in sport management from Texas A&M University.

Northen, a LA Tech marketing graduate, joins Learfield from Peak Sports MGMT where he has been serving as general manager of Lion Sports Properties at Southeastern Louisiana University. Prior to that, he served a short stint as LA Tech assistant director of ticket operations. His early career start in 2012 was with Origin Bank and then Dixie Paper Company as territory sales manager.

Perot and Northen will work closely with Director of Athletics Tommy McClelland, Senior Associate A.D./External Affairs Marco Born and the athletics administration to manage all aspects of the Bulldogs’ comprehensive rights with Learfield, which include signage, digital, corporate sponsorships, television and radio play-by-play, and coaches’ shows.
