COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Learfield named veteran sales and media executive Jamie McIntosh general manager for its Mountain West Sports Properties team.

Jamie McIntosh pic (2)Having built a 25-year career in Colorado, McIntosh comes to MW from serving nearly four years as vice president and general sales manager for ROOT SPORTS Rocky Mountain Regional a division of the DIRECTV Sports Group, where he was integral in creating significant sports sponsorships, sales strategies, and leading local and national sales teams. Prior to that, he served 10 years as national sales manager for FOX Sports Net Rocky Mountain, developing client relationships and exceeding sales goals. McIntosh also previously served nearly 10 years with KDVR-FOX 31 in Denver, as an account executive creating and managing sports sales packages with the NFL, MLB and NHL.

As Mountain West Sports Properties General Manager, McIntosh will lead all communication between Learfield and the Conference, as well as continue to build the MW corporate partner platform. In addition to representing the Conference, Learfield is aligned with the league through individual rights agreements with nine of its 12 member institutions–Boise State, Colorado State, Fresno State, Nevada, New Mexico, San Diego State, San José State University, Utah State and Wyoming.
