INDIANAPOLIS – Learfield Licensing Partners, a trademark management company specializing in collegiate licensing and branding, is pleased to announce that the University of Idaho has signed an exclusive agreement allowing Learfield Licensing to represent the university and its licensing program.
The University of Idaho, located in Moscow, Idaho, has an enrollment more than 11,500. The Vandals compete at the NCAA Division I level as members of the Big Sky and Sun Belt Conferences. In 2016, The Princeton Review named UI the top “College That Pays You Back” among four-year Idaho public institutions.
Learfield Licensing has been hired to help maximize exposure opportunities for Idaho through aggressive retail merchandising and brand development, along with handling the day-to-day management duties of the university’s trademark licensing program.
“I am excited about working with Learfield Licensing’s team to expand the assortment of Idaho Vandals products throughout the state and beyond,” said Sue Smalley, director of trademark and licensing for the University of Idaho.
“We are happy to have a strong licensing and branding partner in Learfield as we strategically increase our brand recognition and share the University of Idaho’s longstanding traditions and exciting future,” said Stefany Bales, Idaho’s executive director of communications and marketing.
“It is an honor to be partnering with the University of Idaho,” said Bob Bernard, president and CEO of Learfield Licensing. “The University has a great reputation for achievement both academically and athletically, and we look forward to helping them expand their brand footprint throughout the Northwest and beyond.”
