INDIANAPOLIS – Learfield Licensing Partners, a trademark management company specializing in collegiate licensing and branding, is pleased to announce that the United States Military Academy at West Point has signed an exclusive agreement allowing Learfield Licensing to represent the Academy and its licensing program.

The United States Military Academy has been educating, training and inspiring leaders of character for our United States Army and the nation for more than 200 years. Founded in 1808, West Point has an enrollment of 4,400 and is located less than 50 miles north of New York City along the banks of the Hudson River. The state-of-the-art sports facilities and academic lecture halls of the academy provide a perfect juxtaposition for the terrain-rich environment used for cadet military training. Athletically, the Knights compete at the NCAA Division I level in both men’s and women’s sports.

New LLP LogoLearfield Licensing has been hired to help maximize opportunities for the Academy through aggressive retail merchandising and brand development, along with handling the day-to-day management duties of the university’s trademark licensing program. Additionally, the Academy will have the opportunity to work with SME, a New York City-based agency specializing in building brands, to strategically analyze and evolve the West Point brand across its many touchpoints. Learfield acquired SME in June of 2016.
