BROOKINGS, S.D. – South Dakota State University Athletics and Midco Sports Network announced today an extension of their integrated partnership through 2026. Concurrent with the upcoming 2016-17 athletic season, the new dual broadcast and corporate partnership agreement was secured and will be managed by the university’s exclusive athletics multimedia rights holder, Learfield’s Jackrabbit Sports Properties.
The renewed 10-year commitment provides MidcoSN® with extensive visibility among Jacks’ fans through various multimedia assets including in-venue signage, digital opportunities via GoJacks.com, radio and game day interaction. MidcoSN will provide sports coverage of Jackrabbit Athletics, most notably live football and men’s and women’s basketball games. In fall 2016, MidcoSN will produce live broadcasts for five of six home football games. Additionally, a generous MidcoSN donation will mean improved technology for a better fan experience inside the new Dana J. Dykhouse Stadium opening this fall.
