GREENVILLE, N.C. – The East Carolina University Department of Athletics today announced a multiyear partnership with IMG Learfield Ticket Solutions (IMGLTS) to lead all new ticket sales initiatives.
IMGLTS, a joint venture between IMG College and Learfield, now represents 35 collegiate partners and generated more than $105 million worth of ticket sales and fundraising revenue in 2015.
“We are excited to partner with IMG Learfield Ticket Solutions, the leader among colleges and universities in outbound ticket sales,” ECU Director of Athletics Jeff Compher said. “This agreement will bring additional resources to help us maximize ticket sales and attendance in all of our sports, including IMGLTS bringing three full-time individuals working with our existing ticket operations staff. Ticket sales are crucial to our department’s overall revenue structure and we believe by partnering with IMG Learfield Ticket Solutions we will increase revenue and provide enhanced customer service to Pirate Nation.”
The operation in Greenville will be headed by Brad Drummond, who was previously with IMGLTS at the University of South Carolina.
“The Pirates are making a significant commitment to expand customer outreach, build relationships with fans, and increase their use of technology,” President of IMG Learfield Ticket Solutions Rob Sine said. “We are proud to be selected as the partner to assist in these efforts and look forward to bringing additional expertise and resources to one of the most passionate fan bases in the country.”
IMG Learfield Ticket Solutions sells more tickets to university athletic events than any other outbound ticket sales company. IMGLTS recently announced partnerships with Rutgers, the Big Ten and Mountain West Conference.
