South Orange, N.J. – Seton Hall University and Garden Savings Federal Credit Union announced a first-of-its-kind partnership for the Credit Union in August as the “Official Credit Union of Seton Hall Athletics”. Now, just five months later, Garden Savings and Seton Hall have expanded their relationship to include a co-branded debit card.
The card will be available at their four Credit Union locations in Northern New Jersey; Parsippany, Newark, Dover and Maplewood. Additionally, alumni will be able to sign up at Garden Savings’ table display on the concourse at all Men’s Basketball games played at the Prudential Center.
“We are really looking forward to rolling out this affinity card for the Seton Hall fan base,” said Louis Vetere, President and CEO of Garden Savings Federal Credit Union. “This is a unique program and the first of its kind for Seton Hall and we are honored to have this responsibility of implementing this card to the Seton Hall faithful.”
This is the first affinity card for Seton Hall faculty, students and alumni. Exact details of the card including benefits and interest rates associated with the program are still being determined between the credit union and school officials.
“This is an exciting time as we’ve been working hard at developing this affinity card and the team at Garden Savings Federal Credit Union have been great to work with,” said Patrick Lyons, Seton Hall Athletic Director. “We are thankful for the continued support and growth of this partnership and excited to see how this affinity program grows with our fan base.”
