SIDEARM Sports is proud to announce the launch of FloridaGators.com, the new digital home of the University of Florida Gators. This multiyear agreement includes a complete redesign with a more modern design with an emphasis on improved readability. Fans will also enjoy “My Gator Zone,” a customizable portal that allows fans to select the teams they are most interested in and receive regular updates and social media integration.

“What an amazing way to end 2015. To be able to partner with the Florida Gators is a tremendous opportunity for SIDEARM and we could not be more excited,” said President and CEO of SIDEARM Sports Jeff Rubin. “We hope all those associated with the Gators enjoy all the site has to offer.”

SIDEARM Sports, a Learfield company based in Syracuse, N.Y., was founded in 1998 by Rubin. Clients applaud SIDEARM Sports for its service, reliability and customization, and its easy-to-use interface allows schools to customize their content streams and digital presence.sidearm-sports

“We wanted a site that is more responsive and adaptable to mobile use,” said Mike Hill, UF’s executive associate athletics director for external affairs. “That was a primary focus, and in addition to that, we wanted to make it more user friendly, integrate more social media, more multi-media, and in an easier-to-use fashion. It’s pretty intuitive in how you navigate around the site and find the information you want.”

The new FloridaGators.com also features a mega-menu for direct access to each team’s schedule, roster, ticket and social media accounts. Gator faithful will also notice the improved stats platform for easier access to up-to-date team statistics and student-athlete profiles.

SIDEARM in conjunction with Frankel Media Group designed the site seen on computer screens and mobile devices. The improved mobile browsing experience featuring more news and information than the current GatorZone.com mobile site is powered by SIDEARM Sports Adaptive technology.

As a leader in collegiate athletic web solutions, SIDEARM Sports provides the software and technology that powers more than 840 websites, mobile applications, live stats, social presence and video streaming for its school and conference partners.
