PURCHASE, N.Y. – ANC Sports Enterprises, LLC announces today that it will be rebranded as ANC effective immediately. The name change is part of an initiative to better align the Company’s identity with its recent growth and new technology offerings.
“Under our new Learfield ownership, we have evolved into a full service technology provider capable of bringing the latest innovations to sports, campus, theater, retail and transportation venues,” said Jerome Cifarelli, President and Chief Executive Officer. “Our new identity not only retains the tradition we’ve established at ANC for 19 years, but also better reflects where we are today as a company and where we are going in the future.”
Acquired by Learfield, a leading multimedia rights holder specializing in collegiate athletics, in March, 2015, ANC has added 20 percent more staff, secured a company-high number of collegiate projects in a calendar year and entered new market verticals by providing, operating, and creating content for custom video display systems. The brand makeover better defines the larger and more diverse organization through a new identity, logo, colors, web site, collateral material and corporate culture.
“ANC has demonstrated they are the marquee technology partner in the industry through multiple video systems at the University of Louisville,” said Mark Jurich, Senior Associate Athletic Director for Development at University of Louisville. “Their new bold identity truly reflects the company’s position in the marketplace and we look forward to introducing additional technology platforms throughout campus with them.”
Two of ANC’s 20 NCAA video display projects were completed at the University of Louisville in 2015. In addition to growth throughout the NCAA, ANC continued to bring technology to professional venues including its first NASCAR deployment at Pocono Raceway. Aggressively expanding beyond sports, ANC deployed the largest digital signage network within New York City’s Metropolitan Transportation Authority at Fulton Center which features 53 locations of LED and LCD displays.
“Since joining the Learfield family, ANC has consistently demonstrated excellence and professionalism while delivering superior results,” said Marc Jenkins, Chief Operating Officer, Learfield. “The new branding identifies with these attributes while connecting with the established history of Learfield.”
The new identity, which was developed in partnership with Greenwich, CT based creative agency The Brand Gallery, will be implemented across the company’s products and services throughout the calendar year 2016.
