CHICAGO – Collegiate marketer Learfield Sports today adds Vice President, Digital Sales Ed Berry to its Chicago-based National Sales team, which is dedicated to aligning corporate America with more than 100 collegiate brands nationwide.

Ed-BerryBerry joins Learfield from CBS Interactive/Entertainment, where he managed the Chicago and Dallas offices for nearly 13 years as senior director of sales, Midwest. One component he managed included the online sales for all CBS Network entertainment, sports and news platforms on CBS official network television websites, as well as the CBS Audience Network for Video Distribution and all mobile properties.

Prior to CBS Interactive, Berry served as B2B Works’ chief revenue officer, and before that, as Midwest director of sales at MSN (LinkExchange) in Chicago. Early in his sales career, Berry was immersed in the magazine sector, as co-founder of Graffiti Group; and selling for Rolling Stone, Playboy Enterprises, Inc. and Esquire.

At Learfield, Berry will work closely with the five National Sales offices in Chicago, New York City, Los Angeles, Dallas and Atlanta, as well as Learfield Digital and SIDEARM Sports, to create unique opportunities and further develop the digital inventory assets for corporate partners aligned with the company’s collegiate partner portfolio.
