Fox College Sports Atlantic, WVII/WFVX in Bangor and WPME in Portland to air post season play

Orono, ME – The post season journey begins Friday, March 6 for the Maine hockey squad as the Black Bears travel to Vermont to take on the Catamounts. The puck drops at 7:00 p.m. EST, airing live on Black Bear TV partners Fox College Sports Atlantic, WVII/WFVX and WPME.

“It’s great to have our post season hockey games airing live throughout the country for our fans and alumni,” said University of Maine Director of Athletics Karlton Creech. “We are thrilled to work with our TV partners to get these games on the air for all hockey fans.”

Maine_property logo imageBlack Bear Sports Properties will be televising the best of three series on Fox College Sports Atlantic, WVII/WFVX in Bangor and WPME in Portland, beginning Friday. Game two will be played the following night, Saturday, March 7 at 7:00 p.m. and if necessary, the third game will air Sunday, March 8 at 7:00 p.m. EST, with the respective TV station schedule below:

  • Game 1: Friday, March 6 – Fox College Sports Atlantic, WFVX, WPME
  • Game 2: Saturday, March 7 – Fox College Sports Atlantic, WVII, WPME
  • Game 3 (if necessary): Sunday, March 8 – Fox College Sports Atlantic, WFVX, WPME
