PLANO, Texas – Learfield Sports announced today that Spencer Christiansen, former general manager for Learfield’s Cardinal Sports, LLC, has been promoted to vice president. Long-time vice president Tom Stevens will shift from business development to a new role as well.

Christiansen and Stevens both will oversee collegiate properties in Learfield’s Central Region. Learfield manages nearly 100 collegiate properties nationwide. Christiansen will relocate to Texas to work from the company’s Plano headquarters, and Stevens will remain in Nashville, Tenn.

Spencer ChristiansenPrior to serving with Learfield’s Stanford entity, Christiansen spent three years as general manager for Learfield’s entity at Montana State University. He also has experience with Utah Sports Properties (at University of Utah) and served as executive director for the Utah Winter Games.

TStevensIndustry veteran Stevens joined Learfield in 2004 as a vice president dedicated to the company’s business development efforts. He also previously served with Clear Channel and Host Communications.
