Campaign will donate $1 for every mention of #IAMPROTECTIVE on Sept. 20
(BIRMINGHAM, Ala.) – The Protective Life Foundation and Nick’s Kids Fund have announced plans for a social media blitz to benefit Nick’s Kids Fund on September 20. The event is designed to raise awareness for Nick’s Kids and the “I AM PROTECTIVE” campaign by asking people to share what they are most protective of with the hashtag #IAMPROTECTIVE. For every post to Twitter, Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag #IAMPROTECTIVE, the Protective Life Foundation will donate $1 to Nick’s Kids Fund, up to $10,000.
Nick’s Kids Fund is an organization founded by Terry and Nick Saban to honor Coach Saban’s late father, Nick Lou Saban. Mr. Saban always wanted to help young people, and the Nick’s Kids Fund, which focuses on child, family, teacher and student causes, was created to fulfill his dream.
Terry Saban said, “Since arriving in Tuscaloosa, Nick’s Kids Fund has been able to support more than 100 organizations in Alabama. Providing food and shelter for disadvantaged children, building 15 homes with Habitat for Humanity, and constructing playgrounds are just a few projects we are proud to have accomplished. On Saturday, through the campaign with Protective Life, we encourage people to support Nick’s Kids and this message!”
