ARMYmobile is a major “Team Army” Level Sponsor of Army Football
WEST POINT, N.Y. and WESTPORT, Conn. – Defense Mobile Corporation, the Army Athletic Association, and Learfield Sports’ Army Sports Properties announced their agreement today that ARMYmobile will be a major sponsor of Army Football.
Built by veterans and supported by a 100% veteran-staffed Member Service organization, Defense Mobile is launching nationwide 4G mobile services and a set of value-added applications that are designed to benefit, honor and reward veterans and U.S military service members for their commitment and service.
Joining the “Team Army” premier partnership category bolstered with a football season platform, ARMYmobile will interact with fans and veterans through significant signage inside West Point’s Michie Stadium, online advertising, and by meeting with fans directly before every home game at Black Knights Alley, where mobile charging stations will be conveniently located.
“Cadets and West Point alumni are role models in regards to honor and selfless service, so the Team Army sponsorship was a logical fit” said Brendan Reilly, Chief Executive Officer at Defense Mobile Corporation. “We thank the cadets, veterans and those still serving in uniform for their service by bringing our 4G mobile services and applications to connect and improve their lives because as an organization we believe they deserve more.”
Sean Drake, Head of Corporate Partnerships at Army Mobile, stated “As one of the West Point graduates working at Defense Mobile, I am extremely proud for ARMYmobile to be a part of Team Army and to introduce the Army’s future leadership to the value added services that ARMYmobile will provide to connect and improve the lives of our members.”
According to Army Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Boo Corrigan, the ARMYmobile association was an automatic win for the Black Knights. “We have an incredible portfolio of corporate partners supporting our athletic programs, and we are grateful for each one of them and what they bring to our campus community, fans and alumni. However, ARMYmobile certainly has a distinct connection to our brand that will be a pleasure to leverage given the obvious synergies that exist. We’re looking forward to getting things started with football season and helping introduce them into market.”
In addition to ARMYmobile, Defense Mobile Corporation will also provide services to veterans and service members of the other branches through NAVYmobile, MARINESmobile, AIRFORCEmobile and COASTGUARDmobile communities.”
