DENVER – The Denver Toyota Dealers Association is kicking off the new collegiate school year with the announcement of its partnership with the University of Colorado Athletic Department. The new partnership will cover the 2014 – 2017 athletic years giving students, alumni and fans alike year-round exposure to the Toyota brand.

The new Toyota-CU press backdrop was unveiled on CU’s media day this August. Additionally, Toyota will have a large on-site presence at the first home football game inside Balch Fieldhouse, a family-friendly area inside Folsom Field.

“The Denver Toyota Dealers Association is thrilled to launch a partnership with CU Athletics! Our six Neighborhood Toyota Stores continually strive to enhance the communities where we live and work,” shared Larry H. Miller Boulder Toyota General Manager and Denver Toyota Dealers Association spokesman Steve Doersam. “We feel great about supporting CU’s teams and student-athletes, while also being able showcase our exciting new lineup of Toyota vehicles at select games. We are grateful for this opportunity – Go Buffs!” added Doersam.

“We are excited to partner with one of the most recognized vehicle brands in Colorado,” said CU Athletics Director Rick George. “It is essential that we continue to grow our corporate support for CU Athletics to be successful. We are very grateful for Toyota’s involvement with the Buffs and look forward to delivering tremendous value to them for their investment.”

The Toyota partnership was secured and is managed by the University’s athletic multimedia rights holder, Learfield Sports’ Buffalo Sports Properties.
