UNIVERSITY OF ALABAMA ATHLETICS, POLK’S MEAT AGREE TO LONG-TERM PARTNERSHIP

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The University of Alabama and its athletic multimedia rights holder, Crimson Tide Sports Marketing, announced today that Polk’s Meat has signed a multi-year agreement to continue as “Official Smoked Sausage of the Alabama Crimson Tide”.

On the heels of its first-ever partnership with the Crimson Tide this current athletic season, fans will be able to purchase Polk’s Meat products for the next three years during all Alabama home football, basketball, baseball and softball games, as well as gymnastics meets. In addition to offering Polk’s at Bryant Denny Stadium, Coleman Coliseum, Sewell-Thomas Stadium and Rhoads Stadium, the partnership allows Polk’s Meats to receive benefits such as LED signage inside Bryant Denny Stadium; exposure in the football game programs; brand recognition inside concession cups and product samplings with fans prior to home football games. Additionally, the brand can cross-promote its Alabama Crimson Tide affiliation into new stores carrying Polk’s Meat.

Crimson Tide Sports Marketing is the multimedia rights holder for the University of Alabama Department of Intercollegiate Athletics, managing the Polk’s Meat relationship on behalf of the school. CTSM is a joint venture between college marketers Learfield Sports and IMG College.
