BROOKINGS, S.D. – Learfield Sports recently named Brittany Oligschlaeger general manager for its Jackrabbit Sports Properties (JSP) entity, the multimedia rights holder for South Dakota State University Athletics.

Oligschlaeger has been with Learfield Sports for seven years, six of which have been dedicated to serving with the company’s Affiliate Relations in Jefferson City, Mo. This division is responsible for securing and maintaining Learfield’s relationships with the radio stations comprising its 50 radio networks managed across the U.S. for collegiate partners. Her most recent role was serving nearly two years as an affiliate manager, following nearly four years as an affiliate relations representative. Her prior activity within Learfield includes serving with National Sales and Indiana University Sports Properties.

Oligschlaeger will spearhead JSP’s rights relationship with South Dakota State Athletics, which formalized in January 2011. Brad Poe, the property’s first general manager, now serves as general manager for Learfield Sports’ University of Wyoming Sports Properties in Laramie. Mike Brotzman serves as Jackrabbit Sports Properties’ account executive.

“Brittany will be a great asset to our efforts in representing the Jacks,” said Learfield Sports’ Vice President Chuck Schroeder. “She has a tremendous work ethic and is extremely knowledgeable about Learfield Sports and our property business model.”

In addition to South Dakota State, Learfield Sports manages multimedia rights for more than 55 collegiate institutions and associations and titles the Learfield Sports Directors’ Cup with co-founders NACDA and USA Today.
