CINCINNATI — Xavier University Athletics and its multimedia rights partner, Learfield Sports’ Xavier Sports Properties, today announced that dilly bistro, bar & bottle shop in Mariemont will serve as host site for the one-hour Chris Mack Show during the upcoming 2013-14 men’s basketball season.

dilly will play host to all 16 live radio shows with Xavier head coach Chris Mack beginning November 4. All shows will be carried on 55 KRC and air Monday nights, from 7 – 8 p.m. ET. Additionally, the independently owned, upscale casual American neighborhood restaurant will host “Xavier Nights” on the four consecutive Mondays leading up to the radio show (October 7, 14, 21, 28). Each “Xavier Night” begins at 5 p.m. and enables fans who wear Musketeers-logoed apparel into the restaurant for dinner to receive a percentage off their dine-in food. The discount, offered at a minimum 10 percent and maximum of 35 percent, will be chosen each week by dilly management and reflect the jersey number of a former, honorary Xavier player.

“We’re excited to call dilly the new home of our coaches’ show,” said Mack. “There’s no denying the passion and excitement this establishment has for the Xavier Musketeers, so we are thrilled to share that atmosphere and energy with our fan base. We encourage everyone to come out to join us live and take advantage of the great food and offerings dilly is providing Xavier fans.”

dilly is located at 6818 Wooster Pike/Route 50 in the Mariemont Strand. Owned by Cincinnati native Chuck Warinner, dilly offers a full-service dining room and patio, alongside a wine shop and beer store. Associate Manager Jim Botti commented, “As a proud and passionate Xavier graduate and former head student manager for Coach Gillen’s team more than 20 years ago, I could not be more excited or more pleased than to bring the Coach Mack show to dilly during its inaugural Big East season.”

“dilly provides a great atmosphere for the show, and we are excited about both the experience our fans will have as customers there and the passion they share for Xavier basketball,” said Tom Koenigsfeld, general manager for Xavier Sports Properties. “They have become a staple in Mariemont by taking care of their customers, and we are confident that our fans will share our excitement about having them on board. We hope this is just the start of a great partnership for many years to come.”

“Throughout dilly’s history, we’ve tried to create the kind of restaurant that we would like to go to ourselves, and now we’re thrilled to channel our passion for all things Xavier by hosting the coach’s show,” said Warinner.

dilly also features live, local music four nights a week and accepts reservations by phone, or online via opentable.com and seatme.com. For more information, visit www.dillycafe.com.
