LUBBOCK, Texas – Texas Tech University fans living in the Houston area now will be able to catch the latest English football and basketball play-by-play on ESPN Deportes KGOL 1180 AM via an agreement with Red Raiders’ Sports Properties, a property of Learfield Sports and the exclusive multimedia rights holder for Texas Tech Athletics.
For the next three years, 50,000-watt KGOL 1180 AM will carry all Texas Tech regular- and post-season football games, including the Red Raider Football Show with Kliff Kingsbury, which will be broadcast before each game. Additionally, the radio station will carry all men’s basketball games (including pre- and post-season), and the Red Raider Basketball Show with Tubby Smith. To give listeners a snapshot at all Texas Tech sports, KGOL also will carry the yearlong, three-minute Red Raider Update.
