MOSCOW, Idaho – Learfield Sports’ Idaho Vandals Sports Properties, the multimedia rights holder for University of Idaho Athletics, announced today that KHQ/SWX-TV has been awarded broadcast rights to Idaho Football’s Spring Game on Friday, April 19. Kick is set for 6 p.m. PST at Kibbie Dome.
Viewers will have a first look at the Vandals ushering in a new era as they take the field under the leadership of Head Coach Paul Petrino and his coaching staff. This marks the second-consecutive year SWX will broadcast the Spring Game, which can be seen over the air and on cable in Spokane, Coeur d’Alene, Tri-Cities, Pullman, Moscow, Lewiston and Sandpoint. The talent will consist of Sam Adams leading play by play, Bill Ames color analyst, and Mike Peterson on the sideline.
“SWX is excited to broadcast the Silver and Gold game live from Moscow. It’s an excellent piece of our spring football coverage, and we’re looking forward to featuring the Vandals once again,” said John Fritz of SWX.
“We’re confident SWX will provide quality broadcast coverage we know Vandals’ fans want for the Spring Game, giving them an exclusive look at the 2013-14 team and triggering that early excitement leading into football season,” said Ann Brett Gillespie Strickland, general manager for Idaho Vandals Sports Properties.
