The University of New Hampshire athletic department, Wildcat Sports Properties and FOX College Sports have announced a 15-game multi-sport package to air live on FOX College Sports. UNH Wildcat Productions will produce the games along with production partner Pack Network. Wildcat Sports Properties, a property of Learfield Sports, manages the comprehensive multimedia rights for UNH Athletics.

“The agreement with FOX College Sports and UNH athletics is truly a win-win situation,” Tom Wilkins, Associate Athletic Director for Media & Public Relations, said. “This is an exciting day for Wildcat Country. Our parents, alumni, friends, family and student-athletes will all benefit from the national exposure a deal like this will bring. UNH prides itself on a rich tradition of competitive athletics with high academic integrity. I believe that is what was most appealing to FCS.”

The 15-game package will feature eight men’s ice hockey games as well as three men’s basketball games and a pair of games each for women’s basketball and women’s ice hockey. The first broadcast will be Friday, Oct. 12 when the men’s hockey team takes on St. Cloud State University (7:30 p.m.). UNH Wildcat Productions broadcasts home games for 12 of its 20 varsity sports via UNHWildcats.tv. All told, UNH will produce over 100 games, including the 15 on FCS.

“FOX College Sports is excited to partner with UNH to bring Wildcat hockey and basketball to a national audience, making it easier for family, friends and alumni to follow their favorite student-athletes,” said Gary Ehrlich, Executive Vice President, FOX Sports Networks. “This 15-game package has many exciting match-ups and we look forward to showcasing UNH athletics across FOX College Sports.”

“Solidifying an agreement with FOX College Sports to provide national broadcast coverage for UNH hockey and basketball is a tremendous win for the Wildcats,” said Learfield Sports’ Senior Vice President, Chief Content Officer Joe Ferreira. “This marks the first of its kind for UNH. The timing of this additional exposure for the Wildcats is perfect as more and more fans discover and enjoy the exciting sport of college hockey.”
