WJOX 94.5, WFFN 95.3 FM to Remain Crimson Tide Affiliate Through 2018

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Crimson Tide Sports Marketing, a property of Learfield Sports and exclusive multimedia rights holder for University of Alabama Athletics, announced today that Cumulus Media in Birmingham and Townsquare Media in Tuscaloosa extended their respective agreements to remain radio affiliates of the Crimson Tide Sports Network for the next five years.

The extension allows for WFFN 95.3 FM “The Bear” and WJOX “Jox 94.5 FM” to carry Bama game action and related programming through the 2017-’18 athletic season.

“Cumulus Media in Birmingham and Townsquare Media in Tuscaloosa have done an excellent job providing quality programming and game coverage for Alabama Athletics, and we’re certainly pleased and proud of the continued relationship with them moving forward,” said University of Alabama Athletic Director Mal Moore.

As part of the extension in Tuscaloosa, Alabama football and men’s basketball will air on WFFN 95.3 FM and WDGM 99.1 FM. Baseball and the Nick Saban Show will air on WFFN 95.3 FM. Women’s basketball, softball and the Hey Coach! 90-minute weekly call-in show will air on WDGM 99.1 FM. Additionally, the Crimson Tide Today two-minute daily show will air on WFFN 95.3 FM and WDGM 99.1 FM.

In Birmingham, WJOX 94.5 FM and WJOX 690 AM will air live all Alabama football and men’s basketball games. WJOX 94.5 FM will air Hey Coach! and the Nick Saban Show, and women’s basketball, baseball and Crimson Tide Today will be heard on WJOX 690 AM.
